Du 25 au 28 octobre au centre culturel Brancusi ( Popescu) se déroulait la 29 ièmes expo concours gala ‘’ La diversité dans l’ art’’ plus de 150 artistes près de 400 œuvres étaient exposé une exposition haute en couleurs et en talents supervisé par la capsq le comité officiel d’ attribution des grands prix, médailles et grande distinction ont remis à Sun ya ( Sonia Michaud ) La médaille d’ argent pour l’’ originalité, la valeur esthétique et technique de son œuvre.

From October 25 to 28 at the Cultural Center Brancusi (Popescu) took place the 29 th exhibition contest gala'' Diversity in the art'' more than 150 artists around 400 works were exhibited a colorful exhibition of talent and supervised by CAPSQ the official committee of awarding grand prizes, medals and distinction were awarded to Sun Ya  (Sonia Michaud) the silver medal for'' originality, technical and esthetic value of his work.

Et oui une répétition preuve d’une bonne expérience une deuxième exposition à la Galerie MP Tresart situé à Durham Sud. L’exposition collective intitulé’’ Zénith Pictural ‘’se tenait du premier au 30 novembre, une variété impressionnantes d’artistes réunis, une petite galerie qui se démarque par l’implication de sa galeriste Mélanie Poirier qui s’implique tant au niveau de sa galerie que de sa propre carrière artistique une très belle artiste à découvrir.

Les 2-3-4 Novembre Sun Ya était à Saint-Jérôme en effet pour la 5 ièmes édition du ‘’Salon des arts’’ l’ exposition se déroulait a la vieille gare et a l’ hôtel de région plusieurs visiteurs 3000 m’ a t’ ont dit sont venus admiré les œuvres de plusieurs artistes autant en arts visuels qu’ en métier d’ art une exposition de très grande qualité, comme artiste invité Antoine Chaudron et Métyvié le caricaturiste , entre autre M. Gordon Harisson peintre de très grande renommée, Christiane lacasse l’ adorable peintre ,Guylaine Renière un coup de cœur d’une grande sensibilitée,M. Jean-Jacques Pharand peintre et spécialiste du détail , Marie-Claude Aubry peintre une amie pleine de talents qui enseigne aussi a sa propre école à Morin –heightset plusieurs autres ce fut un rendez-vous très animée et de toute évidence très réussis avec quelques ventes au final .Merci à Mme Julie tourangeau agente de développement culturel pour son professionnalisme et sa très grande gentillesse envers les artistes .

To follow the news and update you after the July 2 to 16 Sun Ya was on display with CAPSQ at the International Exhibition of Constanta in Romania 's exhibition' titled'' The diversity in the art'' and was held at the national Museum of the Romanian navy. More than 160 works by artists Canadians, Quebecers, Europeans and Romanians all professional artist and jury'' choice'' the painting'' arabesque'' bleu nuit'' of the artist Sun Ya who's returned with a degree of honor at the fair.

Exposition au Manoir des Érables 1814

L’exposition au magnifique Manoir des Érables 1814 c’est poursuivi jusqu’ à la fin juin, elle se voulait en deux étapes une première exposition avec mon amie artiste peintre Julie Poliquin en deuxièmes parties l’exposition se poursuivait en collectif. Une très belle expérience et de très belles rencontres, une brochette d’artistes de différents styles un éventail de talents intéressant de belles amitiés artistique … et quel accueil des propriétaires et artistes de la région dont le peintre m. Réal Fontaine charmant et la peintre Mme Céline Pellerin du talent à Montmagny !! ! Le manoir 1814 un endroit à découvrir.

The exhibition at the beautiful Manor des Érables  1814 that continued until the end of June, she wanted in two stages the first exhibition with my friend painter Julie Poliquin in the second part in a collective exhibition continued. Deux parutions de très belle qualité ou artiste peintres et écrivains sont jumelé pour égayer chaque jour de l’année comme un hasard n’en est jamais un Sun Ya est à la Saint-Valentin ! Elles sont maintenant en vente !

En effet en exposition à Constanta en Roumanie en Juillet,En Estrie à la très jolie Galerie MP Tresart en Septembre.  À Montmagny au magnifique  Manoir des Érables 1814 en Juin.Et au moins  deux autres expositions devraient s’ajouter d’ ici peu …

                 The artist'' Sun Ya'' for Sonia Michaud has been selected to represent Canada in Romania, her painting entitled'' arabesque midnight blue'' has retained the attention of the jury selection. The exhibition will be held in Constanta from 2 to 16 July 2012, to Maritime Museum.

Et oui de retour de New York ou je participais a l’exposition’’ Woman in art’’ à la Galerie Ward Nasse. Ce fut un succès et la toile intitulé exubérance a vite trouvé preneur !!!J’ai fait le voyage en train avec mon amie artiste peintre Julie Poliquin et ce fut très agréable, un accueil chaleureux du propriétaire monsieur Harry et de la galeriste madame Léda Maria.
 Maintenant que le beau temps arrive préparation pour les expositions à venir …à suivre

And yes back from New York where I participated in the exhibition'' Woman in art'' at the Ward Nasse Gallery. It was a success and the Sun Ya's painting entitled exuberance quickly found a buyer! I made the trip by train with my friend Julie Poliquin painter and it was very nice, warm welcome from the owner Mr. Harry and Mrs. Leda gallery Maria.
  Now that the good weather arrives preparation for upcoming exhibitions to follow ...

Janvier 2012 : Je commence l’année avec une introspection, la femme dans ses différentes peaux, avec ses forces, ses faiblesses, ses multiples facettes, son évolution.



Comme respectueuse de mes propres habitudes je me suis inspiré des femmes qui m’entourent de tout âge et de moi-même bien sur !

J’ai joué avec la couleur afin qu’elle crée l' ambiance du moment, l’intéraction des touches de couleurs s’accumulent, s’agglomèrent pour créer la forme, je décortique l’expression en formes géométriques ou irrégulières afin que le dessin n’existe plus et que l' émotion subsiste et transpire par la couleur.

Huile, acrylique, feuille d’or ,collage , médium d’empâtement, finis polymère époxy sur toile.

January 2012: I am kicking off 2012 with an introspection; a woman in her various roles, which includes her various strenghts, weaknesses and states; her evolution.




As a matter of "respect" to my own habbits, my inspiration comes from the various women around me, young and older, including myself, of course!


I have been playing around with color so it could create the ambiance of a moment, an interaction within all touches of paint which, together, create a shape. I furthermore analyzed the expression of geometrical and irregular shapes so that the original drawing would disapear and leave the whole space to emotion, which should interact with color. 




Medium:


Oil, Acrylic, gold "leafs", collage, impasto, and an epoxy polymer finish, on canvas.




It's now time for me to introduce you to all of them, one by one! I am extremely excited to hear about your opinion!

Je peux dire que j’ai eu une année 2010-2011 très productive !!!!

I can say I had a very productive year (2010-2011)!

Maintenant que réserve 2012 !!!

Je vais garder définitivement cette palette de couleur qui éveille mes sens ,la couleur devient de plus en plus importante laissant le dessin comme empreinte du départ ou la couleur prend alors toute l’ espace, je continue d’ exprimer le sentiment, plus que le sujet, rendant ma peinture le porte parole de mes émotions … A vous de voir quelle émotion mes tableaux seront vous faire vibrer !

Now, what is 2012 going to look like!!!

I am definitely going to keep this vibrant color palette which awakes my senses. Color takes more and more space, importance should I say. It brings the drawing to become only the lead whereas color takes the full space. I keep expressing feelings, more than a subject. It feels like it makes my paintings the "spokesman" of my emotions... I am curious for you to express which emotion every painting reflects, to your own eyes!


 

J’aurai d’ici peu une nouvelle série de 8 tableaux ma technique reste tout de même l’huile sur toile mais la texture s’ajoute,la feuille d' or quelques empâtement en épaisseur ou d’un nouveau finis polymère époxy, qui donne au tableau une nouvelle dimension …

Soon enough, I'll have a brand new serie of 8 paintings. My technique still remains oil on canvas mainly, but now texture is adding up, as well as gold "leafs"in some thick empastos, or a new finish called epoxy polymer, which gives the painting a whole new dimension ...
